We have had a long HOT summer here this year. The weather people keep telling us it was the hottest July EVER on record and tht today will be the hottest Labor Day since 1950 but still.... I'm just not ready for this!
I am SO ready! I'd much rather be cold than hot. I'm sitting here with my AC on high, and 2 little fans blowing cold air at my face and neck. My body's thermostat is totally skeewampus!
Hi Mama K - I'm not ready for winter either, but living in New England we are bound to be blessed sooner than later. I wish you strength for the upcoming year with part of your family living overseas and I wish you peace given all of the comments so "generously" rendered in this regard. Keep quilting, my friend...as I tell my 7th graders, we are all pieces of a greater whole. A
I'm with Marty...my body temp is OUT OF CONTROL...may have something to do with the large tumor i've been growing the past 9 months!! Although I must say i don't know if i'm ready for winter either...entertaining two kids INSIDE...hmmm so much to look forward to. LOL
Wow this brings back memories of life in the East for me. I am afraid I love Arizona and my swimming pool to much to go back to those kinds of winters:o although I love an occasional visit..heehee Fondly, B. PS when is your trip east?
Off on the greatest adventure of my life: serving a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the beautiful islands of Fiji for 18 months with my dear companion, my husband. Come along and share our day by day spiritual experiences.
